Text of the Gospels in Clement of Alexandria

This volume fills a void in patristic textual analysis by applying the latest methodological advances to the Gospel text of Clement, the earliest of the Alexandrian fathers. Cosaert concludes that Clementa (TM)s text reveals primarily an Alexandrian influence in John and Matthew and a stronger Western influence in Luke and his citations of Mark 10.
