Editorial Reviews

"I call heaven and earth to witness against you today that I haveset before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants"(Deuteronomy 30:19). Choosing life for me and my descendants logicallyincludes making decisions that lead to self-defense. For devout people troubled by the idea of using deadly force in self defense, thisexcellent book A Time To Kill explains why it is justified in the Scriptures.

- Massad Ayoob, In The Gravest Extreme

Do you or someone you know believe that a Christian should never take another life? That is not God's view. A Time To Kill equips the Christian to getthis straight before a time of need.

- Larry Pratt, www.gunowners.org/

This attorney, speaker and trainer correlates Bible passages with self-defense strategies. Hopkins debunks the myth of moral pacifism and shows readersof all faiths how to glean 21st century advice from historical, cultural and Mosaic Law.

- A. M. Rezelman, NRA, Shooting Illustrated

This book is a reference book for me now. It's so good ... that I have quoted from it. [It] is good for the Christian gun owner to learn what the Word of God says about the controversial subject of gun ownership in our community.

- Kenn Blanchard, The Urban Shooter, http: //kennblanchard.com

I highly recommend this volume to all who would like to understand and, more importantly, pass along to others the Biblical basis of armed self-defense.

- Mike Vanderboegh, www.supseystreetirregularsblog.com

For the Christian who is interested in purchasing a firearm for home or self-defense or in getting a concealed carry permit, this book should be required reading. To my friendswho are new to guns and self-defense I used to recommend Massad Ayoob's In The Gravest Extreme. I now recommend this book as well.
