Linda W. Yezak lives in Texas, where tall tales abound and exaggeration is an art form. She shares a house with her husband of 30+ years and an ornery calico named Molly. She has a deep love for both and a deeper love for her heavenly Father.
Currently on her office brag wall are finalists plaques for the Genesis, Carol, and Selah awards, along with winner- and grand-prize-winner plaques for her short story "Slider," which won an honorable mention in Saturday Evening Posts's 2016 Great American Fiction Contest.
A self-described nut, she says, "I keep my feet candy-coated, because there's no telling when one or both will land in my mouth."
Candy flavor of choice? "Peppermint. Chocolate melts too fast."
